Bidding & Contracts

  1. Change e-Builder status to "Bidding."
  2. Arrange and advertise pre-bid conference.
  3. Prepare bid package.
  4. Set up bid package in e-Builder.
  5. Bid opening
  6. Prepare for contract execution.

Bid Opening

Associate Director opens and reads bids then uploads bid tabulation to the e-Builder project's "301a Bid Documents" folder. 

The bid tabulation will also be uploaded to https://cpd.wwu.edu/previously-bid-projects.

Using the bid portal, AD sends:

  • Communications about low responsible bidder
  • Contract information
  • Notice to Proceed (NTP)
  • Notification to unsuccessful bidders
