PW783 Central Campus Walkway & ADA Improvements

Work on the pedestrian paths in central campus to remove trip hazards and make ramps ADA compliant began July 24 and is expected to continue through September 22. Loud noise will be intermittent but concentrated during demolition work for the first few days of each project phase.

Construction crews will be working on the east side of High Street between Wilson Library and Haggard Hall July 24-August 7 and on the west side of High Street near the Performing Arts Center from August 7-August 28. Work is alternating sides to maintain an open sidewalk on High Street throughout the project. ADA access points to the library and Haggard Hall remain open, but the area on High Street between the two buildings will be closed until August 7. Crews will be working in a smaller area on the northeast corner of the PAC Plaza August 28-September 15.

Work in Red Square between Bond and Miller Halls will take place from July 24-September 22. A pedestrian path along Miller Hall will be maintained, or pedestrians may detour between Bond and Haggard Halls. Signage will direct traffic around the construction areas. Please see attached map for more details.
